Kate Elizabeth Winslet is the real name of Kate Winslet. She was born 5 October 1975 Reading, Berkshire, England. She is an English actress and singer. She was the youngest person to accrue six Academy Award nominations, and won the Academy Award for Best Actress for The Reader 2008 and Kate Winslet has won awards from the Screen Actors Guild, British Academy of Film and Television Arts, and the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. She is a singer also. Her first spouse was Jim Threapleton, second was Sam Mendes and now Ned Rocknroll. She has two children. Anna Winslet and Beth Winslet is her sister and Joss Winslet is her brother.
